We are pleased to share our Annual Report for 2024/25 with you. It has been another very successful year for Water for Kids, a year of life-saving impact for communities gaining access to clean water for the very first time.
In 2024/25 we helped more than 39,000 people in communities across Zambia and Uganda get access to safe water and hygiene for the first time. We did this by:
- Protecting 26 springs
- Carrying out a large holistic project providing clean water to a school and its local community and by building latrines and a washroom for older schoolgirls to enable them to come to school during their periods.
- Rehabilitating 40 disused boreholes
- Providing two water distribution systems with hand wash stations and older girls washrooms to two schools and their local communities.
Much more has also happened so far this year to transform the lives of many rural communities in Uganda and Zambia.
