We are delighted to be back in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health thanks to the commitment of its President Mark Elliot.
The newly invigorated partnership started in November with Trustee Elaine Rudman doing a presentation on Water for Kids to the CIEH Water Quality Conference which was well received. In April an article on WfK was published in Environmental Health News. So word of Water for Kids’ great work is spreading once again to the Environmental Health community. This is just a start as the Board of CIEH are actively discussing other ways to support the charity.
This is important to us as Water for Kids was founded by Environmental Health Officers and still now most of the trustees trained as EHOs. We work with EHOs in Uganda and Zambia. In Zambia we work through the Zambian Institute of Environmental Health, which was set up with he help of CIEH over twenty years ago.
